Perched on the tranquil slopes of the Sabika hill, just steps beneath the Alhambra’s towers and adjacent to the Carmen de los M\u00e1rtires, lies one of Granada’s most intimate cultural sanctuaries: the Casa-Museo Manuel de Falla<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From 1921 until 1939, this modest traditional carmen<\/em> (Granadino villa with an orchard garden) was home to Don Manuel de Falla, Spain’s greatest 20th-century classical composer. Here, amidst the whispering cypress trees and singing birds of the Alhambra woods, Falla composed immortal masterworks such as Noches en los jardines de Espa\u00f1a (Nights in the Gardens of Spain)<\/em>, El retablo de maese Pedro<\/em>, and his monumental choral work Atl\u00e1ntida<\/em>.<\/p>\n
