Wear appropriate footwear and distribute your breaks according to the slopes.

The tourist website offers an audio guide with stops in the historic center, the castle, the Paseo de las Flores and the Rock. It can be used to prepare the route.
Beaches and Rock: choose according to the plan
The municipal coastal information distinguishes Charca-Salomar, next to the promenade; La Guardia, with coarse sand and pebbles; and Punta del Río, around the mouth of the Guadalfeo. Not all offer the same access or the same services. The state of the sea and the season determine the swim.
The source also identifies the coves of Caletón and Cambrón, with access on foot along coastal paths. Before choosing them, check the condition of the trail and whether it is suitable for your group.
El Peñón is a landmark of the seafront. The municipal guide warns that it is prohibited to jump into the sea from its upper part. Pay attention to the signage, the state of the sea and local indications when organizing your stop.
Adapted bathroom and visit with children
The accessible point of La Charca beach, at the entrance to the promenade, has chairs for the bathroom, a shaded area, an audible clock for people with visual disabilities and staff support. Check the season, schedule, availability and how to request the assistance you need.
For families, the tourist website proposes the Fountain Park and the Marco Topo exploration game. Ask Tourism for the necessary map and code. Alternate the walk through the upper part with breaks and activities appropriate to the age; If you have a stroller, check the streets and accesses that avoid steps.
What to eat
The municipal gastronomic information includes sardine skewers, salobreñera-style octopus, anchovy skewers and migas with fish, as well as tropical fruits such as cherimoya, mango and avocado. Ask about the offer of the establishment chosen for your date.
